INTRODUCTION — 8th May, 2021.

Well, with the constant updates and changes in web browsers and web technology, modern web-development is not just about the aesthetics or designs but equally about creating responsive sites using logic and technical skills.
But let me define web-development for you first. Web-development is the art of developing responsive, static and productive websites for users according to their needs and demands.
Though it is a full-fledged job, taken as their major income source by almost 5 million people worldwide, many learn it as a stepping stone for their programming careers further. This is because web-development is an easier subdivision of programming when compared to other subdivisions, namely, application development, game development or system software development.

Talking about web-development it can be divided to two parts, front-end and back-end web-development. Front-end is generally what users see and interact with. Taking example of your beloved social networking site, Facebook. In facebook, you actually can see pictures, navigate to different sections within the website, type messages and receive them. That’s what front-end is about, user interaction and experience. But ever wonder how those images that you see, comments and status that you post or messages that you render are actually stored? All of that is done with the help of backend technologies.

I am actually learning front-end right now and it is quite interesting and at times amusing, especially to someone who is new to programming it all can feel so magical on how much technology has advanced. But with pros comes the cons. Is developing, coding and debugging really easy? Um… not quite. I am almost 60% done with my journey but there is still a lot to learn. Join with me in this 30-day journey, see my progress which I hope will motivate you to learn programming actively and productively as well.

I guess that’s all we have in store for today, see you tomorrow!
